Dr. Vail attended Iowa State University, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Animal Science. She then moved to Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands for Veterinary school. While on Cayman, she was able to do some scuba diving and worked with sea turtles.
Back stateside, Dr. Vail completed her clinical year of veterinary school at the University of Minnesota and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019. Dr. Vail has interests in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Being able to build and foster relationships with her clients and patients is one of the reasons Dr. Vail loves general veterinary practice. Dr. Vail is also fear-free certified and a member of the MVMA, AVMA, and AAHA.
While not originally from Minnesota, Dr. Vail and her husband are happy to call Minnesota home. Outside of work, Dr. Vail enjoys gardening, crafting, reading, and cooking. She and her husband love to travel and are avid fans of the Iowa State Cyclones! Their family is rounded out by their two dogs, Hamilton and Coral.
